Question:
ARE Single Incision Gastric Banding being done iother than New York?

I don't know the answer to your question, but just had to chime in that I just had lapband surgery with one 2 inch incision for the port and 4 tiny 1/4 inch incisions. The four small incisions are healing nicely and don't think there will even be much of a scar from those. Your reason for the one incision may be different than just what happens post surgery with scarring, but wanted to share.

I believe Los Vegas also offers single incision banding.

Seems that people aren't as happy with the single incisions. They complain the port is in a weird place. Then incisions will heal. I had the band 2x....Not the end of the world :)

I had the realize band 3 mo ago and had the 1 incision in the belly button then 3 tiny maybe 1/8 inch incisions,healed very nicely. Only notice they are there if really looking hard to see. I am vey pleased.
