Question:
Does allergy and sinus drainage effect your ability to eat after WLS?
I am wondering if any has experience nausea from sinus drainage. I have seasonal allegries and wanted to now how others handle drainage issues (phelum & mucas) without nausea. — eve1 (posted on April 29, 2009)

Hi there,
I'm about 6 months out now...and this is my first allergy season since the
surgery...I can only speak for myself, but I would say YES to your
question...I don't even feel like eatting or drinking at all...It seems
like the wls has made me, in combo with my alleries, soooooo tired and
dizzy and the phelum and mucas are awful....just be careful...it's easy to
make wrong food choice when you don't feel great...I have a problem with
that and I certainly understand how you feel.

Thanks Cynthia for your response. I am really excited about my surgery this
month, but also worried about not being able to eat due to mucus drainage
