If you are still having pain where your drain was tell your Dr. it may be
your stiches. I had mine done 12/15/08 and i'm still having pain on the
left side where the camra was it will go away just take it easy for the
first month don't do much of anything.

You should tell your doctor. BUT I had a similar burning pain that lasted
weeks. My surgeon told me it was essentially pulled muscles and that it
would pass in time. I wore a binder and didn't reach over my head for
anything. Finally the pain went away. It did take weeks though.

Go to your surgeon. Follow their advice. If you still have problems get
a second, third, fourth opinion. Good Luck and God Bless,

I also had pain on my left side around to my back. My DR told me this was
normal. I also could not sleep due to the pain. When i went to the DR i
asked for something to help me sleep, she did. Slept good and the pain was
gone.
