You can type this in google and get a lot of hits in the search for texting/message board lingo. "Texting and chat room lingo, shortcuts, abbreviations, and acronyms" I really like this site also http://www2.state.id.us/AG/protecteens/InternetLingoDictionary.pdf but you will probably want to learn specific lingo for Obesity shortcuts and I think you can find these on the search fields. I believe another word for SF is surfer-friendly, but don't think it applies to this website (sugar-free makes more sense and I am glad you asked). I am still learning too. I am only three weeks post op and have had a hard time learning the chat room too, but all of the people are nice and helpful and I have been researching these sites which have helped me. Hope it helps you.

I understand how confusing all the abbreviations can be...it took me awhile to figure out what it meant when someone said they had talked to their "nut"...nutritionist. I had images of all sorts of things....LOL... I have so many nuts to talk to I could be busy all day.

LOL! I think we all go thru this when we are new...I remember thinking that people thought their surgeons were "nuts" as in crazy! LOL But SF and NSA = Sugar free and No Sugar Added....LF=Low fat....There's so many...some I haven't even figured out yet! I recently learned OT meant Off Topic! Just ask..someone will answer if they know!
