how do i know if I have a leak in my pouch?

I think you will know, you will be most likely very sick and not be able to
eat.. Check with your Dr, he tested you very well before you left the
hospital. Good luck on that.

A leak, as in fresh surgical post-op? The pain would have driven you to
the phone before you came here, I can assure you. And fever. If you have
pain and fever (over 99), call NOW, get your shoes on and get into the car
and GO. If you also have pain anywhere else in your body that might seem
unrelated to you, plus abdominal/back pain and fever, I hope you're reading
this on your cell already IN the car. Leaks are very unusual today, but
deadly if not taken care off immediately. My dh had one, and survived to
tell of it.

I agree with Michelle, if you even think that you have a leak get to a
hospital ASAP. A leak can cause a life threatening infection!
