i just went for my consultation visit and i met with the nutritionist and i
asked her the same question. she said it doesn't matter what kind you take
as long as it isn't a "silver" brand like centrum silver, etc.
it also needs to be a multivitamin WITH minerals. children's vitamins are
also ok if you can't swallow the others, but you just need to take two
instead of one. extra calcium is needed and if you still have periods you
need to take iron. hope this helps

The ones that you like and are willing to take everyday for the rest of
your life are the best. Chewable works all the time. I do optisource for
vitamin, calcuim is Citracal - lemon.

I get my Iron (Tender Iron) & Calcium (Upscale-D) from VitaLady.com -
Do not take your Iron & Calciums together as they'll cancel each ither
out. Also with Irom take 1000mg of Chewable Vitamon C to help the Iron
absorb more completely. I take a Multivitamin (Sam's Club) every morning
and my Surgeon's recommended Multivitamin (a Pre-Natel "Duet")
every night at bed time. Plus a B complex & a B-12 (both from Sam's
Club) and my Blood work comes back great, now 6 months post-op.

That would depend on what you are trying to accomplish. If you were told
to "take vitamins" and were not specifically informed and you
only want to meet the requirement to "take vitamins", I wouldn't
have any ideas for you. If you want to address the vitamins & minerals
specific to your surgery type, then I could help you but privately since
I'd make it fit YOU and your surgery type. [email protected]
