Hi Lee Anne, You didnt mention about how you are eating.. are you eating
every 3-4 hours, and getting in lots of protein.. I truly think that the
protein is a key factor.. make sure the first thing you eat when you wake
up is a protein bar or drink.. it kick starts you for the day and drinks
lots and lots of water in between..and keep up with the exercise.. it will
start coming off, sometimes there is a stall, Ive had a few throughout the
process... be patient!! and good luck!! April

I've been through that, its called "hibernation phase". I was
scared too but it will be ok. I was at a stand still for 3 weeks. I
increased my protein,.....Started drinking protein shakes and the weight
started coming off again. It will happen, you have to be patient.

Hi Leanne,
First Congrats on the surgery and your wonderful loss thus far. AS the
poster before me said, this is normal. Just stop getting on the scales for
a week or so..and up your water, and if you can, your protein and you'll be
fine. Suddenly, the pounds will just fall off. I know it seems like a huge
problem right now, but, months from now you won't even remember.
This is normal, just keep doing what you're doing. BE thankful you didn't
gain, some even gain right after surgery.
SO, keep on keepin' on..and in a few months you'll be coming back here to
tell us how much you've dropped!
Good luck and best wishes!

Not to worry, you are normal. Everyone goes thru this at this stage.
There will be other plateaus. Get off the scale. Take you measurements
periodically so that you have a non-scale way of looking at things.

I am 6 months post op and seem to loose in multiple lb increments. One
thing you need to remember is that just because you aren't loosing right
now you might be shrinking inches. I recommend *not* obsessing with the
scale, and weighing yourself at the most once a week. I weigh maybe every
two weeks at this point. Some weeks I've dropped 10 or more between the
last weight in, others I'm moved only a pound or less. I *see* the changes
in my body so I know I'm losing. Unless you are vomiting all the time and
can't keep anything down or you are just eating totally wrong and eating
all the Christmas goodies in sight, you are doing *just* fine.

Lee Anne, You didn't state in this posting and there's no entries at all in
your profile to know what you've been doing, are doing or going to do.
Please fill in your profile! You as mine has, might inspire others to
succeed.
But as others have suggested, you need to increase your protein intake.
Plus exercising, add more intensity. Longer walks if nothing else. I now
swim everyday for 2 hours.
Good Luck but keep trying too.
