Question:
does it matter if you have lapband or bypass

okay well this is kinda personal lol not that my dr said i could but well you know, i had sex not even a week out with my lap ryn it has be really gentle but yeah im bad lol

Personally, I don't think sex with a lapband would be all that exciting. Maybe sex with you boyfriend would be better. Ha! Ha!. With that said, I would wait a few weeks, AT LEAST wait till the drain comes out. I think someone answered they had sex the first week, well I still had my drain in at that point. Everyone heals at a slightly different pace, so it really depends on how you feel. I would think someone laying ontop of you pounding away would not be good for you internal stitches and/or staples. They need time to heal.

I think it was a week or so for us, each time ... (I didn't have a drain, and neither did DH). You'll just have to be .. um .. creative. ;)

I do not see what sex has to do with surgery. REsume sex when you feel up to it.
