Question:
Anyone in their 20's start out at 229 5'6 and have problems with saggy skin ?
I am 22 years old and started out at 229. I am now 175 # and stand at 5'6. I am 4 months out and have lost 54# so far. To those in my age group who started about the same weight as me I would like to know what results you got and do you have to have excess skin removed etc. Any input would be appreciated. — J T (posted on January 1, 2006)

Hi JT! I am 26 years old and started out at 277. I will be four months out
on Jan 13th and I am down about 60 pounds. It sounds like our progress is
about the same. So far, I don't have any saggy skin. I think a couple of
things that have helped me so far are (1) I use skin firming lotion from
Mary Kay, (2) The weight loss with me is very gradual which doesn't give me
automatic saggy skin overnight. I think age also helps and of course
getting enough nutrients and drinking your doctor recommended amount of
water. So far the only problem I have had is hair loss.
I know you are probably looking for answers from someone who is further out
but I wanted to post my experience for you. Congrats on your loss so far
and keep up the good work!
Happy Skinny New Year!

My daughter started out at 243 and is down to 130, in a yr time. Her skin
is gradually firming up. the only place it is really noticible is the back
of her legs when she has short shorts on, and a tiny bit on her tummy. She
is 36 yrs old. She did exercise.

My niece had the surgery two years ago, but she is close to your age (she
is almost 22). she has a lkot of sagging skin, and is gearing up to see
the plastic surgeon.

Hi i'm 23 and had surgery in 2003. I went from 267 to 150 to 175. My
stomach is horrible, I hate it but the doctor says no to plastic surgery
because i'm still planing on having children. I really want to have the
TT. Still thinking about it. E-mail me if you have any questions.
