Question:
Has anyone had a difficult plateau after dealing with serious malnutrition?

I was losing just fine and then went into sudden malnutrition to the point of starvation and had to be hospitalized twice. It took a team of specialists to figure me out. Now that I am eating better and off birth control (can no longer metabolize correctly) I am fine- but the weight loss is very slow. My diet had to be changed a few times to adjust for nutritional needs. I feel almost curesed. Its as if my body is not sure if it is supposed to lose or not anymore. Can you talk about your current supplementation and eating plan? Were you on TPN? What kind of surgery did you have? I glanced at your profile, so you are less than 1 year out, right?

Pamela, I am also interested in what your symptoms were and what they did to help you feel better, I feel like I may be having some of the same problems. If you can please email me [email protected].
