The two types are distal and proximal. What that means, is proximal has
less intestine bypassed. about 50-100 cm. Distal has more bypassed,
anywhere from 100-200 cm. Most doctors will go with proximal, because when
more is bypassed, it can cause extreme malnutirition. They use the extrem
of 200 or more for extremly mo people.
