Roy Smoots group (Changing Lives through Bariatric Surgery)out of Seaford De has a meeting in or close to Middletown. His secretary is Barbara Zink. If you are unable to find their number and are interrested, e-mail me and I will shuffle through my paperwork at home to see if I can find it for you. I usually go to the meeting with the Christiana group (Irgau/Wynn) in Wilmington (I live in NewCastle)

I just wanted to say if you do call Dr. Smoots office ask for Tina not Barbara Zink. Barbara moved to New Jersey and she is no longer with Nanticoke Surgical or Changing Lives. I know there are support group meetings all over the state for changing lives and I have seen people come to the Seaford meeting (now actually held in Laurel De) that were not patients of Changing Lives. If you would like to talk through email you can email me any time. I had my surgery 8/15/02 at Nanticoke Memorial in Seaford. Dr. Miller was my surgeon. Did you have trouble getting your approval at all? I just read your profile and saw that your BMI wasn't quite 40. I'm glad you got your approval though. hey, there is a group that meets at milford hospital in the gier building on the 3rd tuesday of the month. is it 6-7pm, i think it is building 207. i'm going to my first one this tuesday. email me if you want more info. take care
