Has anyone been approved using Cigna Health Care of NC?

CIGNA of NC (PPO plan) approved my lap RNY within 3 weeks of my surgeon's letter of medical necessity....no questions asked....no psychological or nutritional consult required. They also paid in-network benefits for my out-of-state surgeon. In addition, they have just approved my panniculectomy and armlift surgery as "necessary reconstructive surgery"...again, no questions asked. I couldn't be happier with this provider! Good luck!
