had surgery 12/1/1999 also had tubes tied 02/97. thinking about having tubal reversal

Think about why you had your tubes tied to begin with. You didn't say your age, but this also has a lot more than your gastric bypass involved. Yes, women have had babies after having surgery.

How old were you when you had your tubes tied. How old are you now. The success rate is very low for women over 35. Insurance companies usually do not pay for reversal and he cost and be vey expensive. You may want to consider IVF but this can cost even more. I had a tubal ligation over 30 years ago. I thought long and hard prior to this. I knew I did not want any more pregnancies regardless of the circumstances.
