Three weeks out from RNY, always cold

its common with any type of weight loss surgery! i have a realize band and im 2 months out and im always cold!

Welcome to the world of being a gastric bypass person. I was never cold, now I have to wear sweats and jackets, and I live in FL. Wait until you lose all your weight, you will be even colder, but heck I would much rather be cold and thin then hot and chubby.

Anyone losing weight goes through this. As your metabolism changes, this affects your body's heat regulator as well. I am 1 1/2 years post VGS surgery, and still have periods when I am cold - not as bad as when I was losing quickly, but still there.

I am 3 weeks out as well and I am right there with you! I am cold all the time.

hello had rny sept 2009 before that i was a person who never , never gets cold . but now i am alwways cold were ever i go i always takes a little sweater or jacket with me all all times, today it was 65 degrees i have my heat on 88 degree and also have a thick sweater on too and socks and sweat pants , i am all the time, but i can deal with it i am down 57 lbs i guess this comes with the weight loss i was told by my doctor it will get better
