First of all I want to thank you for having protected and served our
country. I work at a VA and they do not perform this procedure at the one I
work at but I do know that it is done in Pittsburgh PA. I heard that the
surgeons there are very good. I'm an administrator but I work often with
the surgery department so prior to my surgery I asked for advice and they
recommended it. My husband is a veteran but he is not disabled or service
connected so I was not able to have it done there but if I could've I would
have. Good Luck!

Jerry, Thank you for your service..... I did not have mine done at VA, as
I am a retiree spouse, but I can tell you my experience with Tricare Prime
was great. Very easy to get approved.

I don't know of any VA facility that does any weight loss procedure but if
they are your primary you would certainly want to have their approval.
Look thru the surgeons list here to find one close to you that comes with
the best recommendations if you have medical coverage that can be used
outside the VA.
