Question:
Clothing
Didn't there used to be a link for clothing on here? I have some of my pre-op clothing that I don't need anymore. If anyone knows of where the link went or if it even exists, or existed, can you please let me know? Also, please tell me that the pain meds and I weren't making up that link. Thanks. — Nina15137 (posted on September 26, 2009)

It's still on the home page under 'connect and share'. About 4 topics down
is "clothing exchange"

That's what I'm wondering too, but when I click onto it, there's nothing
there... Whats going on? No on one willing to donate their old clothes?
Have to sell them at consignment stores? come on people, you who had the
surgery should know better how expensive it is to buy in B-I-G sizes!

I was fortunate that my niece and a girl friend of mine passed our clothes
around and ended up that all the big clothes were given away to less
fortunate ladies.

Just an idea. I donate mine to the local womens shelters for battered and
abused women. And for mens clothes they go to the local Vets. Most of them
don't have a much if anything.

Yes, the link is on the first page, about 3 or 4 down under "connect
and share". It has instructions on how to put your items up there,
and asks that everyone do this as one article of clothing can ultimately
benefit dozens of people if every person would re-list items after they
don't need it anymore. It also encourages people to remind others of this
feature by posting it for others to see!

Idon't understand why they won't let us post clothing requests to that
page. I sent an e-mail with the suggestion but never got an answer. The
site almost never has anything on it. I think that would change if people
could list requests.

A lot of the local support group meetings have clothes swaps...So you can
check your state forum to see if there is a group near you...
