Question:
I want to know what kind of shake should I be using for my liquid diet.
I'm lost, I'm having surgery soon! Also, how much of the shake should I be using. I saw that some people said Slim Fast or Carnation Breakfast. Please Help!!! — Niquediva (posted on May 10, 2009)

I used IsoPure Grape Frost Ready to Drink bottles with 40 grams of protein,
and the New Whey bullets, with 42 grams of protein (which I placed in my
fruity-flavored herbal tea). That way, I got in my protein, and I could
use broth or regular tea for the rest of the day.

I am still pre-op, but I have been using Cambridge for pre-operative weight
loss. I like it very much.

I use Isopure Zero Carb protein powder in Creamy Vanilla which has 50 grams
of protein. I mix it with crushed ice and 1/2 cup of skim milk and blend.
You can also doctor it up a bit by adding vanilla and/or unsweetened
chocolate. I've also used Isopure favored waters which have 40 grams of
protein in them. Unjury is not bad either. I've used chocolate and the
unflavored which I added to broths, jello, etc. Good luck and welcome to
the club!

My nut recommended Unjury, but it's too expensive 15 servings for $20. I
now use EAS, which I purchase at Sam's warehouse or at Costco, 70 +
servings for $27 (it's about $7.00 less expensive at Sams). Unjury comes in
more flavors, but some flavors chicken soup (too salty) and strawberry were
too fake tasting. Ask your nut what they would recommend. May God Bless You
Abundantly!
