Question:
is the gastric band or gastric surgery possible if the pateint has a colostomy pouch

Hmmm good question, i would imagine the band for sure would be possible as no bowels involved there. But the rny, that would probably depend on which part of the bowel was removed and how much was removed. These questions would be best posed to your pcp or surgeon. Sorry, i wasnt much help.
