Hey there, you have lost 25 pounds in 7 weeks, sounds pretty great to me.
You will not help your weight loss by eating fewer calories than you are
supposed to... your body will go into starvation mode and hold on to every
calorie in response. Keep up the exercise, eat what you are supposed to
and it will happen. This is a marathon, not a sprint.
Congrats and keep up the good work,

25 pounds in 2 months is awesome weight loss. Make sure you get 1000-1200
calories a day. You will not lose weight faster by eating less. Your body
will go into starvation mode. Get all your protein in FIRST. Your weight
will come off faster when you get your fills, which may take 3-4 times or
more to get the right on. Exercise HARD. leisure walks will not rev up your
metabolism. Drink lots of water an carolorie free ligquids. NO soda.

Dont eat less...eat what you are suppose too. People think if you eat less
you will lose weight and that is not true. And as above said eat all your
protien!!

If you had your first fill on 8/25, then you've got a band. People with
the band don't tend to lose as quickly as people who've had other types of
WLS. This isn't to say that you can't/won't lose the weight, it just might
happen slower.
Also, even though you had the band placed on 8/7, you didn't have your
first fill until 8/25... which means you didn't have any restriction (or at
least not much) until the 25th... which means you've lost 25lbs in 35
days... that's 0.7lbs a day or 5lbs a week!!! Holy cRAP, YOU'RE KICKING
BUTT!!!!
Keep up the good work! :)

Eliana, there are so many reasons people don't lose weight, and you are
going to have to inventory what you do and how much you do it. You can be
exercising, but are you sweating and pushing yourself, or not? Are you
drinking water and avoiding carbonated and caffinated beverages? Are you
sneaking foods, which even in small amounts can prevent weight loss, even
in small amounts? Only you have the answers, and if you are doing all the
right things and none of the wrong, then I would suggest stepping up the
water a little, and changing the exercise routine, and just be patient. My
friend lost little bits and plateaued, but I lost weekly. We both lost all
our weight eventually, it just took her longer than me, and she is thinner
now than me. Who cares if it takes 2 years instead of one? Just be
faithful and plug along! Take care, Patricia P.
