Is there a support group in Brentwood or Antioch, CA??

I really need to find a support group in my area. I live in Brentwood, right by Antioch, CA. I'm having surgery in 2 weeks and will be needing advice through the recuperation process. Thanx in advance.    — Claudia (posted on September 27, 2006)

I DONT LIVE THERE SORRY ....... BUT FIND OUT THROUGH UR LOCAL HOSPITAL.........OR THROUGH UR DOCTOR.....MOST MAKE U GO TO ONE BEFORE U CAN HAVE THE SURGERY.....I M ALMOST 2 YRS OUT COME OCT SO I COULD ANSWER MOST QUESTIONS U MAY HAVE.....ATLEAST UNTIL U FIND A SUPPORT GROUP....BECAUSE U WILL NEED AND WANT ONE....

I don't know about a support group in Brentwood or Antioch, but I know there are several very active OH people in Clayton, Martinez and Concord. Post your question on the California board and you may get more responses...... Good luck with your upcoming surgery. Laura A.
