I was told to stay away from Slimfast because it has to much sugar in it.

Hi, each person's body is different. I can't tell you how your body is
going to respond. I really think you need to eat healthy, do good
exercise, and your body will fare well. Your surgery is already
eliminating alot of the calories so don't put yourself in a malnurished
mode.

Krista,
No theres nothing wrong with what your wanting to do as long as you get all
of your protein in. And slim fast is a great way to get protein in, but get
the Net2 carb kind with NO sugar. Walmart carries them. They are a great
source of protien I think on can is like 12 to 16 grams. It's been awhile
but right around there. In fact I used to use the sugar free slim fast as a
protien drink when I was first out. Was a big help for me. There is no harm
in what your eating as long as you stay away from the high Fats and sugars
and get your proetien in you will be fine. Sounds like a great plan. Your

I understand you wanting to get the weight off quick, but now it the time
to set good eating habits. Once the weight is off, good eating habits will
keep it off. You need to make sure you keep your daily protein level up to
at least 60 grams a day and at least 64 ounces of water a day. A good
source of protein comes from protein drinks, make sure it is soy protein. I
use Isopure from GNC. One 20 ounce drink has 40 grams of protein. But don't
forget to count the calories!! Protein drinks are not free. Some of your
water can come from sugar free non-carbonated drinks. For each meal keep
your fat grams under 10 and carb grams under 15 and you will do fine in
your weight loss. I am 4 months out and have lost 85 pounds. Remember,
exercise is a very important part of our journey. Good luck!

Is this a joke? Your profile states that your BMI is 28 and that you're
learning about surgery.
