Can you describe this in detail? How much food? what kinds of foods? how
are you eating them? When does this unpleasant feeling hit? AFter the first
bite? 15 minutes after you're done..... ?

Kimberly, if you mean your stoma makes a gurgling, funny noise, almost like
miniature burping, even as you talk? If that's what you mean, that was
very normal for me when I ate anything, especially if I took one bite too
many. Some times I would go to sleep with the gurgling. I felt that it
would never go away because it lasted for such a long time. Now at 2-1/2
years I very rarely get it, only if I really over do it. I am not sure
that's what you mean. If you mean throwing up, that usually happens when
you overeat or you eat something that your tummy is saying "no"
to right now. Missy.

Kimberly... have you discussed this with your surgeon? If you have trouble
getting certain things down, you may have a stricture and need your stoma
stretched?

I have found that there are some things that I just cannot eat without
feeling ill. I cannot tolerate chicken or beef very well, Sometimes I
have trouble with eggs. I am ten months out. Just try to see if it
happens with the same foods and avoid them. Try again a few mnonths later.
