Question:
Need info on Dr. Marema & Dr. Murr, both in Florida.

I have narrowed the list of surgeons to Dr. Marema in Ft. Lauderdale and Dr. Murr in Tampa. Can anyone kindly provide me with feeback on either Dr. based on their personal experience? Both of these doctors are in the database of this site. Go to the top of any page and click on "find a doc" and then click on #2 "browse the list", then click on Florida. You will get a list of bariatric surgeons in this state. Both of these surgeons are in this list. If you click on "view comments" for each doctor you will get a list of insurance companies that have approved surgery through these doctors and then a list of patient comments. I find these comments very interesting. Included, are the patient names(and links to their profiles) and e-mail addresses. Maybe you could e-mail them your specific questions. Hope this helps. Dr. Marema has very informative sessions that he does on Monday nights at Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale. Also, if you call his office they can tell you when the next support group meets. There are people there who have had the surgery with Dr. Marema and you could ask them what there personal experiences were. Good Luck.
