I don't have an answer to your questions, but I want to encourage your
efforts. I had my WLS after coronary bypass surgery, and implantation of a
defibrillator. I had 5 stents put in place, and had congestive heart
failure. I was afraid I wouldn't survive the surgery. My cardiologist
said, "Jane, you'll die if you don't have it". They discovered I
was in atrtial fibrillation as I was being screened for the gastric bypass.
To say I was scared is an understatement, and I have had to face setbacks
and special issues that most people do not have. All that said, the WLS
was one of the best things I ever did. I am so much healthier today, and
have lost 170 pounds.
So, good luck with your journey. I hope you get the answers you need.
