Question:
What/how much do you eat during an average day?

Just wondering........I am now almost 16 months post-op(and have lost 135 pounds, with between 20 and 40 still to go) and am wondering what some of you eat (and how much) during an average day. I don't have any real issues - just wanted to see where I am in comparison to some of you. Thanks, Denise    — dnefews (posted on November 25, 2009)

Check out the daily post on the main board forum titled WETEO (Whatya Eating Today Everyone). There is a great group of OH'ers that post their daily menu. Even though I'm only a month post-op, I've been reading that post daily to learn and get ideas for when I'm able to eat a larger variety of foods.

My clinic recommends eating 2 ounces until you reach goal. I know I ate 2 ounces until i reached goal..which was 10 months and now I am 17 months out and eat 4 ounces a meal 5 times a day. I still stay away from white flour as much as possible and eat sensibly. I hope this helps you. I know others who eat more. But I have done well maintaining my weight eating these meals. I workout 3 days a week for 30 -60 minutes depending on what I do, biking or elipticle, circuit, etc. Best of luck to you! Hugs, kim
