Question:
pain on my right side

can anyone tell me what can it possibly be alittle sharp pain on my side side like around my ribs n back area but its doesn't hurt all the time and just started about 5 days ago, kinda scared to know Thanks any answer is welcome    — fixn2go (posted on November 21, 2009)

It could be sooo many things. Even your doctor wouldn't be able to tell you what it is without more information. If you are in pain and it concerns you please seek medical help.

After my surgery I had a sharp pain on my right side, but it was in the front, and I ran to the Dr. which you should too, but he told me it was nothing.

Make sure you are drinking all your water...I use to get thata pain when I either didnt drink enough water or ate too much

Wow, I get that sometimes too. It went away after about an hour the one night and it was really painful. I appreciate the tip about the 'water'. I was at work and hadn't drank a lot of water that night. I bet that was it. :-) (I love this board.)

I had pain in my right back area just above my kidney and it hurt worse when I laid down to go to sleep and when I first got up. It ended up being my adrenal glands being overactive. Your body kinda gets shocked a little by the surgery and the sudden weight loss and my adrenals kicked in. I found taking panothenic acid (I get from herbal supply) which is one of the B complex vitamins really helped me. It's worth checking into because problems with your adrenals can cause problems.
