You'll need to discuss this with your primary doctor and get clearance for surgery if he thinks it is an option for you.

I would like to think you can. U have a number of co mobilities. All of them are in-line with what many of us have. Be warned this is a long process and one U need to consider in depth. It will require permanent changes in your life style. But as U see, we all are able to do this. The only thing I am concerned with is the stroke factor. For this a in depth talk with the primary doctor and the surgeon you choose is definitely needed. Fee free to stop by my page anytime.

I agree with 1st post. You will need to talk to your PCP. Both surgeries are really serious and life changing (as I am sure you know). You will definitely need to work all doctors involved to discuss your case. GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS.

DEFINITELY talk to your PCP and if he approves see what a very reputable weight loss surgeon has to say.

Yes you can! I am 67, highBB,COPD, Arthriyis of spine,,knees, high cholesterol, sleep apnea. My PCP talked very bluntly with me, explaining risks etc. and I decided it was worth the risk. I am 1 week out, came through surgery great and feel fine. It is a lifetime comittment only you can decide if it is worth the risk. I am so glad I did it. Write me anytime if you have questions or just need to talk!Donna
