Read from this site...It has the plan, menus and ideas and the full
explanation...Good luck! It worked for me to get back on track and cut out
some bad habits that snuck back in during the holidays last year!!
Including eating candy and creating a "carb monster" that made me
have horrible hunger and cravings and grumpy pouch! It's not a diet or
designed to lose weight though some do...but a way to get back to the
basics and do things the GB way! The plan was devised by a Gastric Bypasser
on her own and it truly works! Try it if you think you can benefit!

The FIVE DAY POUCH TEST is simply poorly designed to achieve any real
long-term impact. It starts with a great premise- establish bright line
rules for eating and become a more aware eater. However, if you closely
examine the choices, not all of them are truly low-carb choices, and
therefore, it will not necessarily result in getting the carb-monster off
of your back. Also, it doesn't really cause your pouch to mysteriously
shrink in the five days of the "test". So, if you want to get
back on track, take a very structured approach-- plan and measure your
meals and snacks, count your carbs (trying to keep your daily grams from
all sources to less than 25 per day), boost your protein intake (aim for at
least 70-80 grams of protein per day) and focus on how much better you feel
taking control of your eating behaviors. And, when you succeed, please
remind many of us longer-term post-ops that it is possible to get back on
track.
