Question:
Where to look??

Hi All. I read someones post and they mentioned that they printed a card off this site to take with them and SOME restaurants will allow you to order a childs portion. I have not seen one on this site, however, my Dr's office gave me one. Call your Dr and see if they will give you one.

Log in to this Web Site, then click on My OH. When that page opens, look on the left side; you'll see a section titled "About Obesity." It has a list of choices, and the last one on the list is "Restaurant Cards."

Go to My OH then my Profile on the left hand side of page is your profile it has My Friends My Messages Member Card {click this one} here you can design a card for yourself Hope this helps I am new here & only cards to print I have found Gio

I am not sure why your Dr. didn't give you one. It is more effective if your Dr. gave you one with the hospital's name on it. I have not had a problem using it most of the time. Susan G.

wow, learn something new everyday,...i did not get one from my surgeon either and did not know these places did this(then again, we dont eat out much anyways lol)

I was givin a card from my Doctor, it works at Golden Corral they charge me a senior + and I only get water to drink. So try your Doctor they might have one.

My doctor gave me one and I use it all the time! Most places are very accomodating but then there are those that just don't accept it. Golden Coral in my area lets me get a child buffet and many others are the same. Good luck!

My card given to me also has directions to any emergency personnel to be aware not to use a nasogastric tube on me because of my RNY. (this could puncture my stomach) It also has 4 important rules to wt loss and emergency phone number information in the event of an emergency.
