Question:
Are stool samples constistant after DS surgery.

Im not for sure what is ds surgery. I had lap bypass on. Every since I
had my surgery I havent had a constistant stool. I think after wls you are
not eating nothing like you use to. Good luck.

Not sure exactly what you mean by stool samples being consistant -- I think
you mean your poop being the same day to day... I'll answer based on that.
My poop is very different day to day based on my diet. The DS provides
more of a malabsorption than the RNY and also my stomach is much larger
than an RNY -- so because of that, I'm sure I poop a lot more than RNYers.
I definately poop more than I did pre-op -- LOTS MORE! Pre-op I was
cronically constipated, so I love going 2 or 3 times a day. I'm thrilled
with my DS -- not only because of what I've lost, but my food choices are
great. We could go out to eat and you'd never know I had WLS. You can get
