Question:
My post op group said at 6 month I should be eating 1200 cal
I eat 1400 and count them and write them down- I exercise (run, do weights and play soccer once a week) 6 days a week and have lost 96 lbs at 6 months- am I eating too much? — arbinks (posted on January 24, 2007)

I'm 4 and a half months out and lost a little over 70-I eat between
1000-1200 and am also quite active-I think you are right on track and 96
pounds in 6 months is awesome-I only hope to be at that in 2 more
months-Congrats!!

If you are still losing weight, you are not eating too much, but don't make
that a license to eat more. Eat to be satisfied, not full. Obesity is a
head issue with a body consequence, so be careful that your head doesn't
fool you. If you are sticking to protein, water and exercise (mostly),
then you are doing well. I am almost 3 years out and still maintaining my
weight just fine. The tool is great, it is the head issues that trick us

what does your surgeon and dietian say you should be eating??
