Question:
I'm having a tummy tuck in 2 wks can someone help ease my mind?

I am not sure how much i can ease your mind, but i had my TT 8 weeks ago, wow does not seem that long ago.. but i can you i was extecting more pain, every one i talked to said it was SO bad.. but we all have diffrent tolerance for pain.. i think If You can handle the pain from the WLS You can handle this. You will do So wonderfull, We i woke from My TT, and looked down at my flat tummy i wanted to cry.. some times i look at my self in the mirror and i still do, any time you would liek to talk about it.. here i am

I had mine almost 2 yrs ago...I had a full Lower Body Lift. It wasnt painful JUST UNCOMFORTABLE! It was very Tight and I was very numb. I will tell you that the drains are the worse of it (4 total, 2 in your pubic area) and once they come out like dat 4-8, your home free!

Just keep in mind that it was worth every second of discomfort. Just take the pain meds and you will be OK.

One year and two months post tt. LOVE IT!!! The surgery was very doable; not particularly painful; took my pain meds and I was fine. I was never sorry nor did I have pain enough to wish I hadn't. Out of all my surgeries, that is second only to WLS. I could not and still cannot believe my tummy and my bellybutton. I am in my 50's and they both look like I'm 20. When I was 10 it didn't look this good. I am thrilled. Good luck to you.

A girl I work with had her's a week ago and I saw her yesterday and she was very happy. She said "it's amazing!" I am having mine done April 5th and I am getting excited and just a little scared too. Good luck! I'd love to hear from you when your surgery is done, both good and bad so feel free to e-mail me if you need to vent.

I had my TT 3 1/2 years ago. WOW was easier than the WLS. The tubes are the worst and the tightness, but just keep in mind tight skin means what???? Yes flat tummy. I never go the feeling back in my lower area but everything works.
