My BMI at first appointment was 71. My surgery date is November 8th, 2005.
My BMI as of 3 days ago was 69. I am anxious for the surgery to see how
far my BMI can go down.

I do not have the stats that you have, nor do I have any words of wisdom
for you. I just wanted to say (((((HUGS))))) You might want to look at Amy
Williams of GA profile. She also has a web site. You may get a bunch of
info off of it or you can possibly contact her via e-mail and she can help
you.

Good morning. My BMI wasnt quite that high, mine was around 55. I had my
surgery on March 30, 2005. I started at 414 and am now down to 228. I have
lost 186 pounds in 6.5 months. From what I have been told, the bigger we
are the faster we lose. Just remember not to get discouraged if the weight
dosn't seem to be coming off of you fast enough. Everybody loses in there
own way. Good luck with everything.

Hi, my starting BMI was like 76 or 77. That was March 2000. I originally
lost 280 pounds but rebounded almost 50 pounds. I was able to relose 30 of
those and have held steady at 200 pounds. My BMI still classifies me as
overweight on the verge of obese but I couldn't be happier. If you have
any other questions feel free to email me.
