Question:
Has anyone had Premera Heritage Plus 1 and got the surgery approved?

I have this exact same plan. They will NOT under any circumstances pay for WLS. I talked to the insurance agent, Premera, the Dr.'s office insurance biller and they all said that NEVER has Premera paid. In fact, 2 of our hospitals will no longer contract with Premera after September 1 because they are such a terrible insurance company and refuse to pay for nearly everything. Because of this, I have decided to self pay. Yes, I could switch insurance companies and go through everything necessary, but that would be at least an 18 month delay and I am ready to do this now! Let me know if you succeed!
