Question:
Received a great sugar-free eggnog recipe!!
A long-term post-op brought a great eggnog to a WLS meeting and I was surprised that it was SF and it tasted great! I'm not a milk drinker, but this is made with milk. So, for those of you that are lactose intolerant, I don't recommend you try it. Enjoy! 1 small box SF vanilla pudding 5 C milk 1 tsp. rum extract 1 tsp. cinnamon pinch nutmeg Combine the above ingredients in a blender and whip! So easy and tastes very festive! — Cheri M. I just made this in my kitchen and poured it down the sink... not that it
wasnt good... it just wasnt excellent so that means it wasnt pouch worthy!
After a sip or two, I decided that a Proplete Gold Vanilla Pineapple shake
tastes much better and it has 35 grams of protein. I have very high
standards for what I eat and drink as a 29 month post op...lol. susan maria

Real nice Susan, you just burst the bubble of the original poster. If you
do not have something nice to say do not say it all.

I SAID that it was good... but it is totally empty calories and I felt bad
drinking it. Why eat or drink something that is just good and not great if
it doesnt have any nutritional value?
Sorry about how that came out though in my original post... I re-read it
and am sorry for bursting anyones bubble. It was not my intention and I am
usually very careful about NOT doing that. Please forgive me.

This can be made with Carb countdown milk and it's much higher in protien
and taste just like milk!

I'd just like to add a comment.....so what if it's nutritionally defunct!
How often are you going to dring eggnog anyway? Once a year? And besides,
it is fairly nutritionally good....I mean milk is protein, after all! For
the original poster....what kind of milk did you use, skim, 1%, 2%, or
whole milk? Thanks!

Just remember, if you use whey protein powder, make the recipe just before
you drink it because the proetin will start to degrade after about 1/2 hour
(per the manufacturers). That said, I'll bet it would taste awesome with
ProV60 vanilla (my personal favorite vanilla).

Hmmm, just thinking about this, haven't tried it, but do you think this
would work, too? Vanilla protein shake, egg beaters, rum extract &
nutmeg...wondering...anyone brave enough to try it? Cheers!
