Question:
Does Pure Pro count towards total fluid amount for the day?
And when I bought it the girl at the store said that it should be a 'meal replacement'. I have been drinking them in-between my meals as a 'supplement'. Which is right? Can I count it as water & supplement? Or should this replace a meal? — Cheri M. (posted on February 12, 2002)

I also drink PurPro--not as a meal replacement, but as my Protein
Supplement. YES, I count it as part of my liquid intake. I drink it
during the morning hours, after breakfast--Chocolate is the best!!! Good

Actually, I was told that it doesn't count toward your liquid intake. Drink
lots and lots of water!

My nutritionist (who I talked to yesterday when I was discharged from my
RNY) said that the Protein Supplements, like Ensure Light, Zero Carb
Isopure, NAS Carnation Instant Breakfact count toward your protein #'s and
your liquid #'s.
