Try going back to basics with the liquid protein drinks. Measure your food,
log your food, watch the carbs. I would do this for about 3 weeks. That
should do it. That is what people in my support group do when they need a
jump start.

I am in the process of a 7 day cleansing. I've lost 5 lbs so far and I am
on day 4 today. PM me if you would like a copy of the diet.

I am curious about the 7 day cleansing, but wasn't able to find D. Gaudreau
on OH or figure out how to contact this person for the information. Any
help is appreciated.

I realize we have altered our bodies permanently and with that in mind we
do need more protien than the average bear. That being said I have done
well with surgery so far and have certain thoughts on what is and is not
good for our newfound bodies. 1st the 5 day pouch test is pretty extreme
and really should be considered as such. 2nd you must follow the rules of
drinking at least 64 oz of water daily beyond any coffees or teas you may
drink. You must get you vitamins in. You must sleep at least 6-8 hours. 3rd
although we are altered we are still humans. We still have basic human
metabolism. I suggest getting your hands on a copy of Jillian Micheals book
MASTER YOUR METABOLISM. It will help fill in some of the gaps of nutrition
that may be missing and it really takes a natural approach to an unnatural
problem. One last thing. There is a lady who is an OH Coach out of
Washington state. I think her name is Christine. We have never emailed or
anything BUT she is super! She has alot of really good advice. Remember we
have to live this everyday with the good Lords help. There's no way around
it for us if we want to stay healthy and live. Much OH love to you. Keep
on trying as everyday is a new day my dear.

Greetings Everyone: Elizabeth's Avatar doesn't work either. I guess her
info is private as well. Right now, though, because of this private issue,
I'm feeling that I wasted my time writing out anything for this
non-existent poster. But, may what I wrote be helpful to others who have
these same issues. I hope so. In any event, I just past my 5th
anniversary of keeping the weight off in this life-long adventure we enter
with weight loss surgery. Have a wonderful day everyone. Blessings,

Help Support Group Coach, Obesity Help Support Group Leader.
