Question:
I have a stupid question. Please help me!

I had RNY on 4/8 started the liquid diet on 4/10. The papers I have state stay on the SF full liquid for 2 weeks after starting the liquid diet in the hospital. So does that mean I start stage 3 on 4/24 which would be 2 weeks? Sorry I know it is a stupid question but I am looking forward to moving to a new stage.    — soontobeme (posted on April 23, 2009)

Looks like you would start your next stage on 4/24..but wouldn't that be stage 2 and not stage 3? Good luck on your journey!!! ~Jaime

Tonia, I had the surgery 3-31 stayed on liquids Phase 1 unitl I saw my doctor April 10th than that day started Phase 2 and each week have been going to another phase. Hope that helps

I would say the best thing to do is call the doctors office. I'm sure they are used to answering that question. This isn't a dumb question. It just shows you are wanting to do things right.
