Instead of chewing ice drink warm water with a little lemon and if you like
it sweeter a splenda pack. My gas passed in 2 days. My mom is a nurse and
she says that warm fluids move things through your body faster than cold. It works great for me, plus it
tasted really great.

I had surgery March 9th and had tremendous gas the first 2-3 weeks. I
started taking Probiotics and noticed a decrease in gas. I don't know if
the "good" bacteria actually helped or if it was going to settle
down anyway but it can't hurt anything. Kevin

If the pain you're having is in your shoulders, which is where I
experienced it, try using a heating pad. This really helped for me. Mine
was completely gone within 4 or 5 days.

I had RNY surgery March 30th. I had the terrible gas in my shoulders. I
found absolutely nothing that helped much. The heat pad was the best.
Mine finally just passed in about 8 days. I can still feel it a little if
I yawn alot. It will pass, hang in there and congratulations.
