Puree any meats with some broth and veggies. My fav pureed meal was turkey
chili and bean soup...It's got a lot of flavor so you feel like you are
getting a "real meal"...Most hearty protein soups are full of
flavor, such as split pea and ham with well cooked carrots....or sausage
and lentil soup...and these are loaded with protein. For sweet.... Cottage
cheese whipped smooth and add instant SF banana, pistachio or creamcheese
jello pudding and a little milk for a thick protein pudding. Boiled eggs
and a little lite mayo spread on whole grain crackers or soy crisps...Later
when you can have raw veggies, roll egg mix in lettuce rather than
bread...I do this with tuna and chicken salad too...You feel like you are
getting a sandwich only without carbs... You can puree anything you want! I
did!

take a couple of ounces of ricotta cheese, mix with 1 egg, salt, pepper,
garlic. Put it in a ramekin sprayed with Pam, bake at 350 until set. Top
with a couple of tablespoons of low sugar spaghetti sauce. Tastes like the
inside of a ravioli. Good Luck!

I Love scrambled eggs with salt pepper, and a little dry ranch dressing
mix. Also, I love tuna, liquid smoke, and a little mayo. I mash em up
good, and chew chew chew:) There is also a hickory smoked tuna that you
can buy pre-packaged, but I found it cheaper to make it myself. Good luck
--Thank goodness the pureed thing only lasta little while. I get upgraded
to "soft" foods June 1:)

OK, this is a little off-the-wall, but your question made me think of it.
My sister and I are incorporating some amazing whey protein shakes into our
daily food intake, and she came up with an idea she LOVES. She puts a scoop
of the whey protein into some organic instant oatmeal with not-too-hot
water and blends it. With the vanilla whey protein, she gets a tasty treat
that's pretty well balanced. It seems like that would taste good and go
down gently as you are on a pureed diet at this time. I don't know what
quantity you can consume, but you might try the idea of blending an organic
whey protein (naturally flavored) into a bit of oatmeal and see what you
think. :-) Obviously you're in control of the consistency. I don't utilize
cereals, so I don't have first-hand experience, but she raves about this.

When I was on the pureed I cooked low-fat for my family and pureed up
pretty much what they were eatting. If you season food like you normally
would I think it tastes the same pureed or the regular way.
