My daughter had lapband surgery 1 year ago. She went from 225 to 175 (this
morning) it's slow/slower...but, you will see results. My daughter looks
sooo beautiful even at 175 lbs and YOU WILL TOO! Dont get
discouraged....you'll be a success too!
God Bless you and good luck!

I really did not have results until my 3rd fill gave me restriction.

I've lost 50 lbs in 9 months. It took my 3rd fill (I can't remember how
many ccs that was) to feel any "real" restriction. I felt that
this was a good place for me and have not had another fill since. The
weight loss has slowed but I love the band and think it will fulfill my
ultimate goal of being a healthy weight and keeping it there. I've learned
that it is definately a "tool". You must stick to an eating and
exercising plan to keep the weight loss going. I also think everybody is a
little different in what works for them. You'll find your way. Good Luck!

With the band, it's not a matter of "how long" - it's a matter of
"are you properly restricted?"
For most folks, it takes 3-5 fills to reach the proper restriction. For
myself, I know I lost all of my weight (110 pounds) in about 11/2 years. I
am now 5 years out and still maintaining.
Good luck.
