Depends on how far out you are from surgery??? I am almost 8 months post
op and have been taking One a day multi vitamin from about 3 months out.
However, I am one of the lucky one's that even after surgery, my body
produces enough iron so I don't have to take an iron pill and my
nutritionist is flabbergasted that my blood levels are well within the
normal range with just taking my one a day mutli, and 2 calcium chews a
day, and one b-12 pill each day. So I'm assuming everyone is totally
different. Try different multi vitamins, and after a few weeks taking
them, have yr blood levels checked to see if they are fine...if so, then
the vitamin will be right for u. Good luck, God bless and welcome to the
losing side!

Hi-- I am just over two years out and I take Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin and
Nails vitamins-- They are a little pricey--but not as much as most of
them-- I find them at Albertsons-- or Wal-Mart for a better price. All of
my blood work has come back great-- I also do a B complex drop a few times
a week. Hope this helps...

Hello I had my surgery in August and all I have used was generic childrens
multi chewables. My blood work is perfect and the dr said to keep it up. If
I can handle the childrens then to stick with it. I also take 1500 of
calcium and 500 of B12 and thats it..
Hope this helps.
