It could be dry skin, hormones, or a variety of causes. Do you swim?
Chlorine is drying. Try bathing with warm (not hot) water and get
something like Neutrogena sesame oil and apply it when your skin is still
damp and air dry. Also oatmeal baths (Aveeno has several kinds) help with
itch. Good luck!

Its caused by a combination of hormones and changes in weather, but I have
found that Olay Body Quench body lotion for extra dry skin works great!

I too have had itchy skin all over my body. I use to use the seseme oil
as listed above after shower, but was told that oil blocks the pores in the
skin and can cause itching. Needless to say, I stopped using oil, and my
problem seemed to subside. I currently use Olay in shower lotion, then dry
off a lil and apply St. Ives 24 hour moisture, and my skin feels
great...the itching is gone!!! Hope you find something that works for
you!!! ~~~Shari

Apply Extra Virgin Olive Oil all over your body before bath. Add heavy
whipping cream to bath water, and soak for awhile. The whipping cream
blends the water and oil together and works wonders.

I have the same problem with the ichy legs and have found that I have
really dry skin since the surgery. I use alot more lotion than I ever did
before. I like lubrederm.
