Question:
What can I do or take for Gas pain? I think its gas pain

Its been four weeks since I had my surgery and now I have been feeling the worst gas pain. I have tried taking Maylanta but that has not helped. The pain has gotten so bad that I I cant sit, stand or sleep for to long. Is there something I could take or do to help? -Madeline Quinonex    — Maddielq (posted on March 31, 2006)

For sure you need to talk to your Dr. first. Then if all is okay try Gas-X...it works for me! I keep some in my purse, @ home & the my truck. Best of luck to you!

I took "Walmart's" version of Extra Strength GasX.... the Equate brand. It worked great!

Hi Madeline. I'm nearly 19 months postop and I still get gas, but then again, I got it preop too! I use infant mylecon drops, the Equate brand from Walmart. They are convenient and you don't need water to take them. Hope they help you! Cathy

Wal-walk-walk and try alternating by laying on your RIGHT SIDE for a period of time...this may help you to release some of the gas ~Tiffany
