well, like evryone responded to me, it all depends on how booked up your
doctor is and the hospital. you might try calling and asking your doctor.

It also depends on the approval process for your insurance. Good luck and
God bless.

It all depends on your doctor, the insurance company and the office staff.
Sometimes, the office staff is busy that they don't move quite as fast as
you would like them to. For me, I had to have the psych eval, then see a
nutritionist which took forever. I ended up getting a referral from my
Primary Care Physician to see a nutrionist and dietician which really
helped. Since my Primary Care Physician was finally in my corner and
documented my health problems well along with my illness and many diet
attempts, I'm scheduled for May 4, 2006 and started the process around
November 2005. Authorization from my PPO was received the third week in
March. Any footwork you can assist the doctor and staff with helps and
shows your commited. As soon as you have authorization, don't hesitate,
schedule the date. Also, don't be afraid to call your insurance company or
the doctor's office and ask questions.
