You are probably thirsty and not hungry. Sometimes it is hard to tell them apart. Or you might be needing protein, but I think if you bump up your water intake you won't be as hungry. Hope this helps. How much liquids are you getting in vs eating when you feel "hungry". Drink water 30 minutes after you eat and wait and see if your pouch growls or it might even be "head hunger".

Make sure to eat dense/solid food, not mushy foods. The solids should keep you feeling full for longer. I agree with previous post, you probably are thirsty. Alot of the times it's head hunger, so we need to condition our mind. Stick to your guns and stay away from snacking. Good luck!

Sure drink lots of water, juice, eat small meals though out the day! Say like 5 or so when you get a bit hungry. Don't ruin what have going. It is a lot of money to go down the drain. My surgery was 30 grand. I did not spend that kinda of cash to let it go bye bye! Think before you eat. Eat smart small meals drink drink drink water. You are making that pouch bigger and bigger thats a NO NO!!!

I find I need to eat small amount every couple hours. My pouch empties by then or feels like it does so I keep nuts on hand to crunch on. A hand ful and I am good for quite a while.

Are you measuring your food? If not, start to make sure you are actually eating enough. You should always eat your protein first at meal times. Dense protein will fill you up faster and hold you longer. Make sure you're not drinking with or sooner than 30 minutes after you've eaten food or you will be washing it out of your pouch and not benefiting from the satiety a full pouch gives you. As others have said, not getting enough fluids each day can create a false sense of hunger too. If you don't journal your food intake, start doing that also. Use something like The Daily Plate or Fitday.com, even OH has one now I believe. If you see that you are eating too many carbs know that carbs are known hunger triggers. Cut them down to no more than 20-30% of your daily caloric intake. Work with your nutritionist on this so an appropriate eating plan can be designed for you based on nutritional need and activity level. PS...protein bars are pretty high in carbs so I wouldn't rely on them too much; go for meat, yogurt or cheese as a snack instead. They can be one of your 5 mini meals if you choose to eat more frequently than the std 3/day.

physical hunger is probably not possible... its called head hunger... drinking water helps, but also you might not be getting enough protein.
