I began post operatively and still drink to suppliment my protein through
the day: MYOPLEX protein shakes. They have 42 grams of protein. The
chocolate has a great flavor but I have not tsated the vanilla or
strawberry.

You'll get the most protein from ready-to-drink IsoPure 20 oz bottles.
They have 40 grams of protein per bottle, and come in flavors like grape
frost, icy orange, pineapple orange banana, apple melon, alpine punch, blue
raspberry and mango peach. They taste like grown up koolaid and are really
easy to sip on all day long. You can also get a some really good protein
from the New Whey bullets. The are fruit-flavored, too, with 42 grams of
protein in a 3 oz container. They come in grape, blue raspberry, orange,
tropical punch, and now acai berry. They're a little thick, and sweet but
tangy, so instead of drinking them by themselves, I would brew a large cup
of herbal fruit-flavored tea and put half a bullet in. It made the tea
taste "zingy"... and I miss that taste now that I no longer need
the bullets. You can also go to any GNC or Vitamin Shoppe and get Syntrax
Nectar protein powders. They have them in fruit flavors, like "fuzzy
navel" or regular flavors like chocolate truffle, vanilla creme, etc.
And for right after surgery, when fat content is not such a big thing, you
might find you enjoy the Oh Yeah Vanilla Creme or Chocolate Creme ready to
drink bottles. They are soooooo yummy! Hope this helps!

Vitamin Shoppe - Gold Standard Whey Protein 100% Isolates... many flavors
no after taste and goes down smooth... Banana Cream is the best to me. Good
Luck

None...Stay away from Protein drinks as they are made to bulk up not for
weight loss. You will eventually gain all your weight back if you continue
to use these. Instead get all your protein from food. Eat less then a cup
of food or a few bites or a half sandwich every few hours. I eat anything I
want and I eat all day. The important thing is to eat....This surgery only
works if you eat. Drink water or tea and walk. I am 5.5 years post op and I
am 122 lbs. I can't gain an oz.
