i eat boca burgers from time to time. i have found one that has about 15
grams of protein. sometimes i add a slice of weight watchers lf american
cheese which adds about another 4 grams. it's a pretty fililng
"meal" and i have found i tolerate it well (RNY). :)

Same here.Sometimes I get whatever store brand, but I still tolerate them
well. But one is all I can eat at one time, for sure! I like to add low fat
cheese too. Sometimes I add a little salsa for more veg and flavor.

I love them! In fact, at one point in my journey at year 4 po...I gained
10 lbs and eating veggie burgers often as a meal was an awesome lower
calorie high protein/high fiber choice! I eat TVP (textured veggie
protein) which is what many of those "burgers" are made from for
other recipes like chili, meatballs, stuffed peppers, stuffed cabbage and
any recipe you might use ground meat... Soy is a complete protein unlike
most other veggies that have protein and need other foods to complete the
protein chain...So it's a great lean substitute for meat...I make swiss and
mushroom burgers, mozz cheeese and sauce burgers, salsbury steak type with
brown gravy, salsa and cheddar with jalapeno pepper rings!....You can use
them in soooo many ways besides using the regular burger toppings...You can
even cut in half and roll up in a large lettuce leaf for a breadless burger
with all the topping inside! It's a great choice! I eat them regularly and
with all the flavor options, they don't get boring at all!!!
