rny - 2/5/09 - The first week I was sore, but not really in any pain. The
next two weeks the largest insicion site was very sore, but every day it
got better. Then one day Irealized nothing hurt anymore. So, it just took
maybe 3 weeks. Hope that helps.

I had surgery on 2/9/09 and I was very sore the first week. After that it
wasnt as bad. I started walking around our neighborhood after two weeks and
it helped alot. Congrats on your surgery!

Everybody is different. I was sore about a week and was walking 1-2 miles a
day in about 5-6 days out from surgery. I agree with above that the more
active you are the better you do. Good luck with everything. Kevin

I was a little sore the first couple days, but my "pain" came
from GAS. Walking and gas-x strips helped me alot! I'm a little over 2
weeks out, and haven't had any more pain or soreness after the 1st week.
Congrats!!!!

The first week is uncomfortable, once the drainage tube was removed I felt
great. Hang in there, keep moving because some of the pain comes from GAS
and the more you move the better you will feel. I will say I felt better in
the hospital than at home, since the drugs were via shots that took affect
alot sooner than pills.
